Dr. McDonald is a member of The American Academy of Family Physicians.

Dr. McDonald was born and raised in Reno, Nevada where she attended medical school. After doing medical residency in Phoenix, Arizona she returned to Reno where she has had a very busy family practice for the last six years. She recently married and moved to Nashville in January of 2007 to start a new practice. She enjoys seeing patients of all ages and has a special interest in adolescent and women's health issues.

Dr. McDonald is affiliated with Southern Hills Medical Center.
